2 Notification Methods by University to Students
From the Academic Affairs System (Gakumu system) or Gmail
Announcements from the university to students, such as course registration related information, cancellation of classes,
supplementary or make-up classes, announcements from your faculty or graduate school, confirmation of your safety in an
emergency, etc. will be posted in the Academic Affairs System (Gakumu system) or sent out via the Okayama University
Gmail address.
Please be sure to check them at least once a day.
Also, setting up a forwarding service from your Okayama Unversity Gmail account to your smartphone is strongly recommended.

Please check the Okayama University Website Homepage for important notices, such as the cancellation of classes due to weather warnings.
Postings on the bulletin board
Course registration, cancellation of classes, tuition fee exemptions, and scholarship application information will also
be posted on the bulletin board on campus.
Please check them when you come to campus.
Notification by phone call
If we need to contact students individually, we may contact you by telephone.
If you are unable to answer the phone during a class, please use the answering machine function or check the incoming
calls history after your class finishes.
If there is a change in your phone number, please be sure to update the phone number on the Academic Affairs System.
