L-café gives you the opportunity to practice Japanese with native speakers, offering a more immersive language-learning experience. Another way to practice Japanese is through L-café’s Japanese Conversation Partner Program (JCPP). In this program you get linked to a Japanese Okadai student who agrees to meet up with you once a week to practice Japanese conversations skills. But that's not all! L-café also offers free English conversation lessons, along with regular French, Chinese, and Japanese language cafes. These provide you with the chance to learn a language of your interest casually and freely. Besides learning a new language, these programs also give you the opportunity to make friends from countries all over the world!
Moreover, L-café is not only just a space for international students to study or hang out; but it's also a gateway for international students to discover the charms of Okayama prefecture. Among many things, L-café organizes weekly trips for students to discover Okayama, as well as many other cities. Going on these trips allows international students to fully immerse themselves in local communities which teaches you more about Japanese customs and culture.
